Madcapz is Twitter Charity Hat #13

We are so proud to be a part of Mommy Perks Twitter Charity Hats campaign!

Shara Lawrence-Weiss, founder and owner of Mommyperks.com started the Twitter Charity Hats campaign on a whim. She thought it would be a great idea to wear different company logo’d caps for a week at a time and promote them on her blog, Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms in exchange for those companies contributing a donation to their favorite charity.

Well, she now has a list a mile long and the campaign has taken off like crazy! We jumped on the bandwagon and are so thrilled that we are Twitter Charity Hat #13! And Shara is not just promoting our logo on any old cap – but she’s wearing our Aqua Dot Madcapz!

The charity we have decided to donate to is Caps For Kids. This fabulous organization gives autographed baseball caps to children who are undergoing chemotherapy. The mission of the organization is listed on their website as follows:

“To a child who has lost their hair due to the chemotherapy treatments, the caps help them establish a special bond with their caregiver/physician and their celebrity hero. We have found that many of the children garner strength from the autographed caps, and they feel as though their celebrity hero is right there with them fighting the battle against their illness.”

Through Mommy Perks Twitter Charity Hats campaign, Madcapz is able to donate to Caps For Kids. Our donation will help this wonderful organization pursue their mission of assisting kids struck by cancer. We are proud to be a part of this.
