Will Lady Gaga Make Hats With British Designer
British designer Philip Treacy is the man behind Princess Beatrice’s legendary hat at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s royal wedding last spring. Treacy is also the man who creates headpieces for Sex and the City’s Fashionista Sarah Jessica Parker. “Gaga, is young, talented and peculiar-which I like,” Treacy told Britain’s The Guardian. It’s National Fall Hat Month!
I just found out about this little fun-fashion-tidbit. I have to say, at first… I thought it was a joke. Then as I kept googling it — it became apparent, that September really does hold the National Fall Hat Month title!
It makes sense as we get excited to add more accessories like scarves and hats heading into fall. So go ahead, buy yourself a new Madcapz women’s hat, because they’re right for every season!

Designer of Women’s Hats Honored by Smithsonian
Hatter Mae Reeves receives an honorary Liberty Bell as her designs were displayed at the National Museum of African American History. The event honored Reeves’ accomplishments as a women’s hat designer and millinery shop owner. It turns out that Reeves was one of the first African Americans to establish a business in downtown Philadelphia.
